Tomorrow is our big move-in day (after we go through a dreaded entrance inspection). I can’t put into words how excited I am to move into our new place – or to no longer live out of a suitcase, to be more precise. Still, there’s one thing in particular that I’ll miss about our little studio in Champel: Parc Alfred Bertrand.
Geneva is apparently known as the “city of parks” since about a quarter of the city is taken up by public parks (that’s quite a lot considering Geneva is not that big of a city). At Alfred Bertrand we chased the last rays of summer sun. We sat on its benches unwinding, practicing French, and people-watching. It’s such a quaint little place.
Adieu, Alfred… et à bientôt.
