Nuit des Bains: Geneva’s Art Walk

If you consider yourself an art buff (or if you just like to view art with a drink in hand), then head over to Rue des Bains for the next ‘Nuit des Bains‘. On such a night, all up and down this otherwise lifeless street in Plainpalais/Jonction and the adjacent streets, you’ll find at least 20 open galleries and various undiscovered restaurants and coffee shops (see: Ou Bien Encore) open until 9PM. A highlight for me was the NABAB – Notre Atelier Beaux Arts des Bains – and the work of Fergus Sindall. The Museum of Contemporary Art was also open and gets a huge crowd (see below). It’s rare to see so many people out in the streets in Geneva – that’s when you know it’s good. Don’t miss out the next time around!
